Tanakh: Tanakh courses are taught with the aim of intensively studying major topics in each sefer, through careful attention to peshat (literal meaning) and detailed analysis of the mefarshim (commentaries) and midrashim. In addition, emphasis is placed on the seminal events in each sefer, and how to teach them. By approaching the sefer as a unit, students comprehend the interrelatedness of events as they unfold. Students sharpen textual and analytical skills that will be used to develop creative approaches in teaching Tanakh. Click on TorahNavi or Ketubim for further details.
